Today all over the world, we see the end-time prophecy of woes, terrors and horrors being fulfilled before our very eyes.
One thing we should know is that you can never pray away divine agenda away. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come” (2 Tim. 3:1). Jesus speaking of these times said, “…ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars…” (Matt. 24:6-8).
However, in spite of these horrors, God has ordained to exempt His people as He did in Egypt and all through the forty years of their journey to the promise land. Today we want to look at – “THE MARK OF EXEMPTION!”
By covenant, we are not permitted to suffer what the world around us is suffering because we are not the same. There is a clear distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that does not serve God
In Malachi 3:17-18 God said, “…18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.”
God said, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee…” (Isa. 60:1-3).
Whenever you see a “but” in a sentence, it means that there are certain persons that that general rule does not apply to.
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isa. 60:2b).
This mark will come upon you as an individual and not as a church (Isa. 60:2b).
So, relax! Regardless of what is happening across the globe, there is a “but,” and that “but” connotes EXEMPTION.
Come with me to Ezek. 9:6. Here God said, “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any person upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house” (Ezek. 9:6).
Did you hear that instruction from the LORD? “Any person upon whom is the mark, come not near.”
But look at what should give us with great concern: The cleansing should begin at God’s sanctuary. Do not begin on the streets. Clean up the church first.
Then they began at the ancient men. These men have been long in the sanctuary. Start the cleansing from the oldest members of the ministry.
In Galatians 6:17 Apostle Paul said, “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”
This mark is visible to all the enemies of your destiny. Now, in the name of Jesus Christ, may that mark come upon you and your family today.
Now, we can see a type of the church in Egypt. And when plagues invaded the land, God’s exemption plan was made manifest on all scores.
For example, we saw from scriptures how God exempted Israel from the plagues that came upon Egypt. Let us pick a few of the 10 plagues of Egypt:
1. Swarm of flies, which connotes decadence and stench (Ex. 8:20-24),
2. Death of cattle, which represents the death of businesses and careers (Ex. 9:1-7),
3. Destruction by hails and tempest, which connotes devastation and destruction (Ex. 9:18-26),
4. Gross darkness, which connotes confusion, stagnation and frustration and failure (Ex. 10:21-23), and
5. The scourge of sudden death (Ex. 11:4-7).
But thank God, our exemption from the evils of the day has been established by redemption (1 Pet. 2:9).
While the present economic meltdown may continue to grow worse, God’s covenant people shall not feel the heat thereof (Mal. 4:1-4, Ps. 33:18-19).
Every generation in history experiences famine: Abraham (Gen. 26:1), Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. Yet they were all exempted from famine that was ravaging their country at the time.
The Bible says concerning you that “even in this time of famine in our country you shall laugh.”
The Bible says, “The godly will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough” (Ps. 37:19, NLT).
Therefore, no matter the level of famine in the country, you and your family will not be disgraced, and you will have more than enough.
We also understand from Scriptures that no matter what is going on in the country, somehow somehow, covenant people flourish in hard times (Gen. 47:15-27).
Even if money fails in this country, because of the prize that Christ has paid for us in full, you and your family will flourish, have possessions, grow and multiply exceedingly.
I have Good News for you: God shall be setting a seal of exemption upon the fore-heads of all His people and that will not allow the destroyer to come near our habitation (Ezek. 9:6, Ps. 105:13-15).
The same way He exempted the children of Israel from the plagues that came upon Egypt, God shall be separating the redeemed from all the evils of these last days.
Now, hear this: Every Word you receive and believe, sets a seal on your forehead. Who is Jesus? He is the living Word of God (Jn. 1:1-14). So, every Word of God you receive and believe marks you out.
Hear this: Whatever you believe you are empowered to become. So, it places a mark of the Word on your forehead. Therefore, wherever you are the mark of exemption is showing – exemption, peculiar. Yes! You bear the mark of the Word on your forehead! This mark of the Word is being stamped on your forehead right now, IJN.
Wherever you find yourself, the mark of exemption will distinguish you because every Word you receive and believe, you are empowered to become. You are leaving this service with the mark of exemption on your forehead. All you need is to believe in your exemption rights in redemption. What qualifies one for this mark of exemption?
To step into this right of total exemption, one fundamental requirement is that you must be Born Again. Until a person is Born-Again, he cannot experience the rights of exemption.
Allow this exemption right to rule your mind, your thoughts, and your world. No matter what goes wrong on the earth, it will always go right with you. From today anyone that attacks your life, my God will bury them, IJN. Anyone that tries to frustrate your destiny by any form of demonic influence, my God will humiliate and disgrace them, IJN. Anyone that has vowed that whatever is happening in the world will happen to you, my God will reverse their decrees, IJN.
Watch out for the next edition of Good News from the Pulpit!
Your friend, I. I. Madubunyi
