DUTIES OF A HUSBAND IN THE CHRISTIAN FAMILY

 The husband should be the head of the home (1 Cor. 11:3). What is the meaning of Husband? The English word husband comes from an old word which we might spell house-band. The word band here means a strip of metal or a rope used to join or hold things together.

 Last Sunday, we concluded our discussions on “THE PERSONALITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!” Today we want to look at “THE WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” Remember that anything you do in this life without the help of the Holy Spirit is regarded by God the Father as self-righteousness.

 Last Sunday, we learnt from the Scriptures that the Holy Spirit is a Person. Today, we are going to see that “the Holy Spirit is God.”

 Last Sunday, we looked at “the importance of knowing the Holy Spirit.” Today, we are going to focus on “the Person of the Holy Spirit.”

WHY MUST I KNOW THE HOLY SPIRIT?

 For you to experience the unlimited BREAKTHROUGH that God has ordained for us this year, you must know the Person of the Holy Spirit. If you don’t know Him, you cannot profit from Him and breakthrough in any area of your life is not possible.

THE RAPTURE IN THE LIGHT OF THE IRAN WAR

 After 21 hours of intense negotiations, the peace talks between the US and Iran failed in Pakistan. Iran refused to commit to the proposal that they will not seek nuclear weapons or the tools that would help them to quickly achieve nuclear weapons now or in the near future. Iran must end all uranium enrichment. But Iran refused.

YOUR ABILITY IN CHRIST

One major reason why many Christians are not experiencing breakthrough in life today is because they are ignorant of their ability in Christ (Isa. 5:13; Hos. 4:6).
