THE DOORWAY OF INHERITANCE!

Today we are going to look at “THE DOORWAY OF INHERITANCE!” 

Psalms 97:7 says, “Let all be put to shame who serve carved images, who boast of idols. Worship Him, all you gods.” 

In Exodus 20:4-5 God talks of ancestors that served other gods [that is, idols], and worshipped graven [carved] images. God strictly warns everyone against all forms of idolatry or other involvements with “false gods.” 

The evil consequences of this sin extend to four generations. Specific abilities and demons are passed from generation to generation. Especially disastrous are:

• • Any involvement in the occult,
• • Any idol worship [which is really demons worship] (1 Cor. 10:14-21), and
• • Any oaths taken by parents or ancestors, which are binding on their descendants [as is the practice in the occult].

This places a curse on a particular family. So the children that come later do inherit such curses.

The sins of our ancestors do have a grievous effect upon our own lives. The sins of ancestors are passed on to their posterity. 

What is inheritance? An inheritance is something left behind by one generation to be received by the next. Your inheritance is your heritage. There are two types of heritage: (1) Godly heritage, and (2) Ungodly heritage – which leads to bondage.

Levi is an example of one that had a godly heritage. Levi, a descendant of Abraham benefited from Abraham’s righteous act. God considered Levi to qualify to receive tithes since he “joined” Abraham to pay tithe to Melchizedek because Levi was in the loins of Abraham when that righteous act was done. 

Hebrews 7:9-10 says, “Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, 10 for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him.” 

Remember that Levi was a fourth generation descendant of Abraham. Abraham begot Isaac. Isaac begot Jacob. Jacob begot Levi. Yet Levi, four generations away, benefited from the righteous act of Abraham. People whose ancestors worshipped the true God have godly heritage and they enjoy the benefits of righteous foundations.

A certain minister has a godly heritage. His father and ancestors to the ninth generation were all Pastors. Such a person has a solid foundation to practice his Christianity. He may get away with a few things, as he draws on the mercy of God ‘stored’ up for him by his godly ancestors. He will be enjoying the blessings of God he never worked for because the Bible says that the seed of the righteous shall be mighty upon the earth, and that the generation of the righteous shall be blessed. 

Psalm 112:2 says, “The seed of the righteous shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright [righteous] shall be blessed.” 

Psalm 25:13 says, “The soul of the righteous shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.” 

Proverbs 11:21 says, “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.”

The problem of many African Christians is that they are the first generation Christians. We do not have the legacy of righteous foundations. In order words, we do not have godly heritage because our ancestors were idol worshippers. Rather what we have is ungodly or satanic inheritance which leads to inherited bondages.

What is inherited bondage? It is a state of captivity or enslavement peculiar to a particular family lineage. It is a satanic inheritance passed down the line. It is passed on from generation to generation. Sometimes these may be expressed as sicknesses, like mental disorders, blood disorders, untimely death, backwardness; sexual perversion, violent outburst etc. are sometimes associated with certain families. These are repercussions of what our ancestors were involved in, and even though we were not directly involved in their evil acts, but by being borne into these families or clans, we automatically inherited the evil foundations.  

Lamentations 5:7 says, “Our fathers have sinned, and are not (and are no more); and we have borne their iniquities.”

Our ancestors have sinned, and have died and gone; and we are bearing the consequences of their iniquities. These inherited bondages do not only affect people but even the environment as well. In some communities drunkenness may be a predominant thing, others may be given to violence, sexual immorality etc. Some examples of inherited bondages include curses, satanic priesthood/idolatry, covenants and sexual perversion.

Some people claim that once you are Born Again, it takes care of any form of bondage in your life based on the Scripture: “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new” (2 Cor. 5:17). 

Please realize that being Born Again does not remove inherited bondage from your life. For instance, if you owed the bank one million US dollars, that you got Born Again does not cancel the debt. You still have to settle the bank. 

A man whose ancestors have entered into wicked covenants with the devil on his behalf cannot afford to take his Christianity casually. If he tries it, he may not live to tell the story. First and second generation Christians must work very hard to discover and dismantle all the satanic covenants that their parents and ancestors entered into on their behalf. 

Counting back to four generations gives us four levels of ancestors:

1. 1. Immediate biological parents 2
2. 2. Grandparents 4
3. 3. Great grandparents 8
4. 4. Great-great grandparents- 16

If you add all these up, you’ll arrive at a sum total of 30. Any of your 30 ancestors could be a channel though whom you may have been exposed to satanic influences. Can you guarantee that none of your 30 immediate ancestors was involved in any form of idolatry or false religion? This occult influence can begin while someone is still in the womb of the mother.

God-fearing parents provide protection for their unborn baby, but parents with an occult background expose their babies to the same spiritual influences that are at work in their own lives. Such children are usually already demonized before they emerge from the womb.

Any idolatrous worship of false religion brings about such influences. Such false religions include Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Freemasonry, Ekankar, Grail Message, Jehovah Witnesses, the Mormons or Church of the Latter Day Saints, Knighthood, Vikins, Buccaneers, Mafias, Pirates, Black Axe, Ogboni Fraternity, Martial Arts, White Garment set-Ups like Ufuma prayer Band, Odozi Obodo, Roman Catholicism etc.

Instances of evil foundation in a family line abound in the Scriptures. 

1. CURSES:

The first example is Moses, the servant of the LORD. Do you know that the great ministry of Moses ended in a failure? It ended in a failure because it failed to accomplish the set goals, which were to deliver the people of Israel from the hand of the Egyptians and to lead them into the Promised Land.  This sentenced him to an early death. 

In Numbers 27:12-14 God said unto Moses, “Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel. 13 And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered. 14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.”

What caused Moses to fall out of favour with God? He fell out of favour with God because of his anger. In anger he struck the rock to produce water contrary to the command of the Lord. God instructed him just to speak to the rock (Num. 20:8-12). How could it be that a man that was reputed as the meekest man on earth (Num. 20:3), exhibited anger where it mattered most? 

What is the root of this anger that robbed Moses, a godly leader, of his identity in God? A look at his ancestral foundation would explain the root of his anger. The ancestor of Moses was Levi (Ex. 2:1). 

Look at what God said about Levi in Genesis 49:5-7: “Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. 6 O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they dug down a wall.7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.” 

Do you know that Levi, the ancestor of Moses killed a man in his anger (Gen. 49:6)? No wonder, Moses, his descendant, also killed a man in anger (Ex. 2:11). The anger of Levi was cursed (Gen. 49:7). And because this curse was not broken, the evil foundation of anger led to Moses’ wrong action. He manifested what he inherited from his ancestor, Levi.  

That is how many Christians today are battling with crippling sinful habits inherited from the ancestors. For instance, descendants of warriors and bloodthirsty men manifest a lot of anger and violence even as Christians and servants of God. Descendants of truce-breakers, deceivers and liars manifest a lot of tendency to deceive and lie, thereby proving to be quite unreliable even as Christians.

Another example is Eli. Do you realize that the life of the descendants of Eli was mortgaged following the curse of God on Eli and his descendants?

The Lord God Himself cursed Eli and his lineage. 

a) In 1 Samuel 2:30-34 Hophni and Phinehas died in battle (1Sam. 4:16-17). A number of members of this family were killed in a day by King Saul (1 Sam. 22:18-23).

Abiathar the priest - the only serving member of Eli’s household was removed from priesthood even though he was very faithful to David, he was manipulated by curses to side with Adonijah (1 Kings 2:26).

b) The Jews cursed themselves and generations yet unborn (Matt. 27:17-26). During the Second World War Hitler killed six million Jews in gas chambers. They said let his blood be upon us and our children’s children. The holocaust museum in Jerusalem is an attestation to that curse.

In 1 Samuel 2:31-33 God said, “The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your father's house, so that there will not be an old man in your family line 32 and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, in your family line there will never be an old man. 33 Every one of you that I do not cut off from my altar will be spared only to blind your eyes with tears and to grieve your heart, and all your descendants will die in the prime [flower] of life.” 

The implication of this is that by the manifestation of this curse all the descendants of Eli shall die young – Christian or no Christian until the curse is lifted. 

A number of families are suffering from a similar curse today. They never have anybody live long enough to become old. For such families, their oldest men are in their 30’s, 40’s or 50’s. In some families there is a sealing of age, and no one lives beyond that limit. In a certain family no one lived beyond 35 years of age. In such families, the death has a pattern. People may be dying after a certain time interval, say after every 7years. In a certain family a father buried three of his sons in his lifetime. The three of them died before they could get married and while they were in their early 30’s. It was also observed that those that died were the sons in odd number positions – the 1^st, 3^rd, and 5^th sons. Strangely enough, the third son who died was a Pastor. Information had it that their grandfather was very wicked and diabolical.

2. SEXUAL IMMORALITY: A good example here is King David. He was a man after God’s heart. He fought and won in all his battles except the battle with the spirit of lust. 

How could such a godly man fall into sexual immorality [adultery] that led to deceit and murder? A look at the ancestral foundation will help us here. He had an evil ancestral foundation. The ancestor of David was Judah, who had a problem with sexual immorality. He was involved in an incestral relationship with Tamar, his daughter-in-law, when he mistook her for a prostitute (Gen. 38:11-26). 

King David the singer, prophet and king of Israel committed adultery with Beersheba (2 Sam. 11:3-4). 

Amnon, the son of King David rapped his half-sister, Tamar (2 Sam. 13:10-14). Absalom, another son of King David slept with several of his father’s concubines in the open before all Israel (2 Sam. 16:22). The problem of sexual weakness climaxed in Solomon, another son of King David. He related with 1000 women, 700 wives, and 300 concubines (1 Ki. 11:1-3). Note that incest runs through the Davidic lineage as passed out by their great grandfather Judah. Has it ever occurred to you why most women who gave birth to children out of wedlock end up having grand children out of wedlock?

The story of King David further reveals that children and descendants can suffer from the curses/judgments that were due to sin of their ancestors. 

Look at the curses/judgments following the adultery and murder committed by King David:

i. “Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house” (2 Sam. 12:10). From that time the sword became a constant threat in the family of King David. Absalom killed his half-brother, Amnon for raping his sister. Absalom also led a rebellion against his father, King David. Absalom died by the sword. This curse affected both David and his children even as it is today.

ii. “Behold, I will raise up adversity against you from your own house….” (2 Sam. 12:1a). 

Adversity was going to come against King David. The adversity was to come as a rebellion from his family.

iii. “…and I will take your wives before your very eyes and give them to your neighbour, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun” (2 Sam. 12:11b). 

This came to pass in 2 Samuel 16:12 when Absalom slept with his father’s concubines in the full view of all Israel.

iv. “….the child also who is born to you shall die” (2 Sam. 12:13b). 

An innocent baby had to die for the sin of its parents. Can you now see one of the reasons why some babies die?

Why was Absalom the kind of man he was? This is because Absalom’s life was already programmed by the curses that preceded him. As consequences of his father’s sins, God had judged and He needed a man to fulfill the spoken Word. Absalom happened to be that man. Absalom first raised a sword in the family, killing his half-brother, Amnon. He also raised a sword in rebellion against his father. Eventually, he died by the sword. Absalom was unfortunately a victim of circumstances. He was a victim of family curse. I imagine that Absalom would have had a good life if not for the sins of his father and their consequences. But evil family foundation ruined his life. This is how many people [Christians] are suffering today because of the sins of their ancestors. Are you living out the evil programming in your ancestral foundation? 

In Lamentations 5:7 the Bible says, “It was their fathers who sinned, but they died before the hand of judgment fell. We have suffered the punishment they deserved.” In Matthew 23:36 Jesus said, “I assure you, all the accumulated judgments of the centuries will break upon the heads of this very generation.”

Children born in a polygamous setting usually have sexual weakness. Men who get into polygamy are actually morally bankrupt, openly declaring that they cannot be satisfied by only one woman. Many of they relate with other women outside apart from their own “official” wives. Most of the women in polygamous settings also relate sexually with other men outside. All of these form an evil foundation for children born in a polygamous setting. Many of such children have had carnal knowledge of their half-sisters, brothers, and cousins.

Today many Christians are struggling with the spirit of lust. And most of the people with this sexual problem are those from families with faulty sexual foundations. Many of them can recount that their parents or grandparents had sexual weaknesses. Some sleep with sisters to their wife. Some sleep with their cousins. Some sleep with all the house helps brought in by their wife to help out in the home. Some fathers sleep with their daughters before they give them out for marriage. Some Pastors sleep with the female members of their congregation. Some sleep with their daughters in the Lord – spiritual incest. Many get involved in pre-marital sex during courtship. Some are so weak that they feel sufficiently sexually aroused enough to reach orgasm and wet their pants when they just see a bit of the top of a lady’s breast over her dress.

Some families or individuals are suffering from premature deaths, hereditary diseases, insanity, poverty, marital delay, barrenness, disfavour, near success syndrome etc. due to faulty family foundations. What many families are suffering fall under the curses pronounced by God in Deuteronomy 28:15 – 68.

3. MARRIAGE UNIONS: Evil foundations can be transferred through marriage unions. Jehoram, the son of King Jehoshaphat of Judah had a godly foundation. But he was influenced by an aura of evil that came with his wife, Athaliah, the daughter of Jezebel, and king Ahab of Israel. 

2 Kings 8:18 says, “Jehoram walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for he married a daughter of Ahab. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD.” 

Athaliah inherited the wickedness of her mother Jezebel, which she now transferred to the more godly and peaceful throne of Judah. After the death of her son, King Ahaziah of Judah, Athaliah killed her grandsons and usurped the throne (2 Kings 11:1-3).

The family of King Jehoram suffered from the consequences of the evil faulty foundations of their in-laws, the family of Ahab and Jezebel. 

Another innocent man, by name, Adriel suffered the loss of his five sons because of a curse that was visited on the family of his in-laws (2 Sam. 21:5-8). Adriel was married to the daughter of King Saul, who killed the Gibeonites. His sons had to die since King Saul who sinned was their maternal grandfather.

Every individual has two ancestral foundations, ancestors on the father’s side and ancestors on the mother’s side. When a person gets married, his children could be affected by his two ancestral foundations, and or his wife’s two ancestral foundations. This actually means that a married couple has four ancestral foundations to deal with so as to have a better life for themselves and their descendants to enter into the fullness of their blessings in God.

4. SATANIC PRIESTHOOD/IDOLATRY: The following are good examples of priests of Satan: Practitioners of witchcraft, soothsayers, conjurers of spells, mediums etc. The witch of EN-DOR (1 Sam. 28:7-13), the Babalawos, Mallams, Attamahs, and Gurus are all satanic priests.

Jeroboam was the first chief priest of Satan; he institutionalized idolatry and strategically pushed God out of his house in BETHEL and Israel as a whole by ordaining priests and setting up golden calves. He replicated the feast of the tabernacle in the 8^th month and instead of the angelic traffic that characterized Bethel in Jacob’s time (Gen 28:10-13), demonic traffic took over (1 King 12:26-32, 1 Kings14:9-11).

Note that all the seven kings that reigned after Jeroboam were terribly evil; their regimes were characterized by assassinations, and outright rebellions against God. Baal worship was officially introduced to Israel during the reign of Ahab under the priesthood of Jezebel. 1Kings16:29-32. This kind of Baal worship is characterized by drunkenness and sexual orgies (Num. 25:1-3).

Under Jezebel priesthood, prophets were thrown into dungeons and some killed (1kings18:9-13).

Prophets of Baal flourished until Elijah had them slaughtered during the mightily revival on Mount Carmel (1 Kngs18:38-40). There were lots of palace prophets who prophesied for gain (1 Kings 22:6-8).

In a research to determine the failure rates among ministers, Olukoya of Mountain on Fire MInisteries (2007) showed that 30% of ministers who happen to be pastors children fail in ministry, where as 80% ministers who bear occultic names fail in ministry, 50% of converted occultic ministers fail in ministry, ministers whose parents were possessed had 85% failure rate, 60% of ministers from nominal Christian home fail in ministry, 60% of ministers converted from Islam in ministry, 80% of ministers from riverine areas fail in ministry, 75% of ministers from polygamous homes fail in ministry, 90% of ministers whose parents served Satan fail in ministry, and 9% of ministers whose parents were born again fail in ministry.

5. COVENANTS/EVIL DEDICATION.S: Do you know that the first born of the Egyptians were killed by the almighty God in order to liberate the Jews and covenant them unto himself? (Ex. 13:1-2, Ex. 19:3-16 v16-19, Ex. 24:1-3). The people of Israel entered into agreement or covenant with God to walk with him on Mount Sinai.

Note how the covenant was soon broken in the desert under Aaron’s leadership, another covenant (satanic) was entered into with Israel (Ex. 32:1-6).

The switch in allegiance from God to Baal was initiated by the leadership under Aaron when Moses was away and was reinforced by Jeroboam in the promise land. From this time onward you notice the children of Israel breaking ranks or turning their backs on their God with terrible repercussions. It is their choice of other gods and breaking of their covenant with God that sent them into about 2000 years of Diaspora until 1948.

Evil dedications especially in Africa takes place through Naming, Tattoo mark and Tribal mark incision etc. Satanic altars once established in a place opens up that environmental to demonic habitation e.g. Shrines, Mosques, and Temples of all sorts.

A man whose ancestors have entered into wicked covenants with the devil on his behalf cannot afford to take his Christianity casually. If he tries it, he may not live to tell the story. First and second generation Christians must work very hard to discover and dismantle all the satanic covenants that their parents and ancestors entered into on their behalf. 

Covenants that are made on behalf of a person/people by those who represent them, before God or Satan, would stand because God honours covenants that were entered into in representative capacity. 

In Deuteronomy 29:14-15 the Bible says, “But you are not the only one with whom the LORD is making this covenant with its obligations. The LORD your God is making this covenant with you who are standing in His presence today, and also with ALL future generations of Israel” (NLT). 

God is a God of covenant. He honours covenants that have been made, even if made by ‘mistake’ or if one was tricked into making such a covenant. For instance, God honoured and upheld the covenants that the elders of Israel were tricked into making with the Gibeonites (Josh 9:3-19). Many generations later, when King Saul broke the covenant by killing the Gibeonites, great consequences befell Israel. There was famine for three years, and God allowed seven descendants of King Saul to be killed before God heeded the prayer for the land (2 Sam. 21:1-14). The fact that covenants can be made in representative capacity, and that covenants are upheld even when made as a joke, through deceit, is employed by Satan to continue to steal, kill and destroy. This is the plight of many students who think it is a joke when they entered into covenants with the devil in the campus cults.

RENEWAL OF COVENANTS AND ALTARS: Covenants and altars can be renewed through annual festivities e.g. Oshun festival, New yam festival, Calabar carnivals, Abuja carnival, Rio de Janeiro carnival. Note Jeroboam replicated the true festival of the Tabernacles for an evil one (1 Kings12:25-33).

DEALING WITH INHERITED BONDAGES: The un-disposed sins and abominations done by the ancestors; the agreements and covenants they entered into with Satan and demon spirits constitute evil foundations in a family line in that it has opened up the spiritual atmosphere of their posterity to demonic invasions. The limitations and failures suffered by even some godly descendants could be explained by the evil foundations they inherited from their ancestors. When you do not deal with an evil ancestral foundation, such evil foundation will deal with you, whether you are Born Again or not.

We can deal with these four faulty foundations by conducting family deliverance ministrations at those four native villages to secure forgiveness from God, and to break curses and covenants with Satan. This family deliverance is important because in His love God forgives sin, but that is not until somebody takes up the responsibility of disposing the sin in a heart-felt repentance, He will not forget to punish the descendants for the sin of their ancestors – even extending the punishment up to the fourth generation of those who offended Him. 

In Exodus 34:7 God said, “I show this unfailing love to many thousands of generations by forgiving every kind of sin and rebellion. Even so, I do not leave sin unpunished, but I punish the children for the sins of their parents to the third and fourth generations” (NLT).

To deal with the evil inheritance we should:

1. a) Identify the source of contamination if you can.
2. b) Go for reconciliation in the case of curses arising from an offence.
3. c) Come before God in total repentance.
4. d) Renounce any connections.
5. e) In case of a family or a city, identify an elder who is Born Again to bring repentance and renunciation of any inherited bondage.
6. f) An intercessor or minister can now prophetically declare judgment on all satanic altars (shrines temples etc.). Let him/her speak to the heavens, the earth, the living and the non-living not to collaborate with the wicked to do evil any more.
7. g) Then raise the altar of the Lord over the community.

The covenants our parents and ancestors entered into with Satan and his demons constitute part of the evil foundation we must deal with if you are to enjoy the fullness of God’s blessings. Covenants can be rejected and broken. Even covenants God made with men can be rejected and broken by their children and descendants. 

2 Kings 17:15 says, “They rejected His laws and the covenant He [God] had made with their ancestors, and they despised all His warnings. They worshipped worthless idols and became worthless themselves” (NLT). 

In a similar manner, we can reject and break the covenants our ancestors made with Satan. This is the responsibility that the New Testament church has. The church ought to deal with the evil foundations of the past generations. Isaiah prophetically spoke about this responsibility after he introduced the ministry of Jesus Christ in Isaiah 61:1-3. 

In Isaiah 61:4 the Bible says, “And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.” 

Now is the time to take up this responsibility! Rise up and do it. You can!

In Leviticus 26:38-45 God said, “You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you. 39 Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their fathers' sins they will waste away. 40 "'But if they will confess their sins and the sins of their fathers--their treachery against me and their hostility toward me, 41 which made Me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies--then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin, 42 I will remember My covenant with Jacob and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land. 43 For the land will be deserted by them and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them. They will pay for their sins because they rejected My laws and abhorred My decrees [statutes]. 44 Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the LORD their God. 45 But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the LORD.'" 

Do you notice from the above Scripture that the survivors wasted away in the iniquities of their ancestors? Oh! How many people are today wasting away in the iniquities of their forefathers without realizing it? Whole nations are being destroyed because of the iniquities of their fathers.

An example is the case of a certain lady who said that before her mother’s death, she was given a number of items which she was instructed to guard carefully, and then pass them on to her own daughter. Her mother told this girl that she would die if she lost any of the items or allowed them to be destroyed. When she asked the mother why these items were so important, she was told that they ensure the continuation of her family’s power. May I inform you that such powers came from the demons associated with that family? Her family had worshipped and served the devil for many generations.

How do we recognize those with generational family curses? Such people experience the following:

• • Eating in the dream,
• • Climbing a hill, a staircase or tree without ever getting to the top,
• • Seeing themselves in their primary or secondary school uniform writing exams that they have passed long ago,
• • Inability to continue steadily on a particular project – spirit of abandonment and retrogression,
• • Mental and emotional breakdown [confusion],
• • Repeated, chronic or seasonal sickness, especially without clear medical diagnosis,
• • Repeated miscarriages or related female problems – example, barrenness,
• • Breakdown of a marriage,
• • Continuing financial insufficiency in spite of good earnings [poverty],
• • Frequent accidents [being prone to accidents],
• • A history of suicides, premature deaths, divorces, no marriages,
• • Night mares – horrifying dreams,
• • Hindrances in life’s pursuits [set back in everything you do]. Backwardness in life pursuits no matter how hard you tried,
• • Splitting headaches [migraines],
• • Depression,
• • Memory lapses,
• • Indecision,
• • Outbursts of anger [Rage],
• • Unbelief,
• • Mental illnesses,
• • Physical illnesses such as sugar diabetes, cancer, stroke, hear attack,
• • Abnormal fears,
• • Rejection,
• • Incest,
• • Barrenness and a tendency to miscarry.

Let me ask you, “Is your family line characterized by a particular type of problem like incest, poverty, drunkenness, uncontrolled anger, suicide, mental illness, rebellion, divorce, the young ones remain unmarried or marry and come back home?”

The desire of Heaven is to insure your full liberty and increase. God will surely destroy upon this mountain, all the covering casts, and all the marks of disfavour that have been hindering you from possessing those things that rightfully belong to you. Are you experiencing any sort of setback in your life? The Lord has promised to destroy it to insure that you have your desired breakthrough in life. Hallelujah!

c. Praise and Worship/Deliverance Prayers on foundational bondage or pollution:

1. I cover myself and all my belongings with the blood of Jesus against all satanic arrows, in Jesus’ name.

• • Father, I ask You to show me mercy and forgive all my sins right now, in Jesus’ name.
• • Father, thank You for thus far You have helped us in 2019. Cause the remaining part of this year to produce in multiples for us, in Jesus’ name.
• • Father, thank You for carrying all my loads, all my sins, in Jesus’ name.
• • Father, thank You for all Your blessings upon my life and my family, in Jesus’ name.
• • Father, I ask You to perfect all that concerns me, in Jesus’ name.
• • Father God, I am tired of struggling with finances. I therefore, ask you to grant me a financial breakthrough in life, in Jesus’ name.

2. 2. Father, I release myself from every inherited bondage, in Jesus’ name.
3. 3. Father, let the blood of Jesus flush out from my system every inherited satanic deposit, in Jesus’ name.
4. 4. Let the blood of Jesus Christ and the fire of the Holy Ghost cleanse every organ in my body right now, in Jesus’ name.
5. 5. I command every evil consequences of the ancestral worship of my ancestor’s god over my life and ministry to break by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
6. 6. I command every manifestation and exhibition of rebellion from the ancestral and family spirits to receive the undiluted anger of God, in Jesus’ Name.
7. 7. By the blood of Jesus, I destroy every influence of the Jezebel spirit over my life and over this church right now, in Jesus’ name.
8. 8. I destroy every covenant with ancestral spirits, water spirits, desert spirits, witchcraft spirits, spirits in evil sacred trees, spirits inside/under sacred rocks/hills, family gods, evil family guardian spirits, family/ village serpentine spirits, masquerade spirits, inherited spirit husbands/wives, by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ Name.
9. 9. I command every unconscious evil soul-tie and covenant with the spirits of my dead grandfather, grandmother, occultic uncles, aunties, custodian of family gods/oracles/shrines, to be destroyed right now, in Jesus’ Name.
10. 10. I command every association of ancestral spirits gathered against me to be shattered, in Jesus’ Name. I command its hold on my life and ministry to be destroyed, in Jesus’ Name. Let its projections return back to it. Let its plotting, scheming, maneuverings and operation, receive divine frustration, in Jesus’ Name.
11. 11. I reject every evil and ancestral family name. I break the power of every evil dedication ever placed on my head, every pledge, vow, promise or covenant ever made on my behalf with the ancestral spirits. I renounce and reject them and cut myself off from them with the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
12. 12. I decree that from now on, no ancestral or evil family spirit will have any hold on me and my ministry, in Jesus’ Name.
13. 13. I decree that they will never have any entry point into my life again, in Jesus’ Name.
14. 14. I command every decision, vow or promise made by my forefathers contrary to my divine destiny to lose its hold by fire, in Jesus’ Name.
15. 15. I command every legal ground that the ancestral guardian spirits have in my life to be destroyed, in Jesus’ Name.
16. 16. I command every generational curse of God resulting from the sin of idolatry from my ancestors to be broken, in Jesus’ Name.
17. 17. I command every ancestral evil altar prospering against me, to be dashed against the Rock of Ages, in Jesus’ Name.
18. 18. I command every ancestral placental manipulation in my life, to be reversed in my favour, in Jesus’ Name.
19. 19. I command every evil ancestral life pattern designed for me through vows, promises and covenants to be reversed in my favour, in Jesus’ Name.
20. 20. I command the power of any sacrifice ever offered in my family, or on my behalf, to be broken, in Jesus Name.
21. 21. I command any ancestral bloodshed of animals, or human beings affecting my life to lose its power, in Jesus’ Name.
22. 22. I command any curse placed on my ancestral line by anybody cheated or maltreated to be broken, in Jesus’ Name.
23. 23. I command every garment of ancestral, infirmity, disease, disease, sickness, untimely death, poverty, disfavor, dishonor, shame and failure at the edge of miracles passed down to my generation, to be roasted by fire, in Jesus’ Name.
24. 24. I command every evil ancestral river flowing down to my generation, to be cut off, in Jesus’ Name.
25. 25. I command every evil ancestral habit and weakness of moral failures manifesting in my life, to lose its grip and release me now, in Jesus’ Name. 
26. 26. I command any power from my family background seeking to make a shipwreck of my life and ministry, to be destroyed by the fire of God, in Jesus’ Name.
27. 27. I command every rage and rampage of ancestral and family spirits resulting from my being Born Again, to be quenched by the liquid fire of God, in Jesus’ Name.
28. 28. I command any ancestral power frustrating any area of my life in order to discourage me from following Christ to receive multiple destruction, in Jesus’ Name.
29. 29. I command every ancestral chain of slavery binding my people from prospering in life to be broken, in Jesus’ Name.
30. 30. I recover every good thing stolen by ancestral evil spirits from my ancestors, my immediate family and myself, in Jesus’ Name.
31. 31. I command every ancestral embargo in my life to be lifted right now, and let good things begin to break forth in my life, family and ministry, in Jesus’ Name. 
32. 32. I bless the Name of the Lord for answering our prayers, in Jesus’ name.
