HOW DO DEMONS GAIN ENTRANCE INTO PEOPLE’S LIVES?

Today we are sharing on “HOW DEMONS GAIN ENTRANCE INTO PEOPLE’S LIVES!” It is the will of God for us to enjoy life (Jn. 10:10). Every child of God is already blessed.

Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as His divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

But, until the enemy [the source of your problem] is dealt with in your life, there will be no free flow of God’s blessings to you. You will see the will of God for your life, but between you and that promise is a mighty obstacle. This is a covering cast put there by the devil just to frustrate you out of God’s blessings. This shall be destroyed in your life tonight by the reason of the anointing (Isa. 10:27), in the name of Jesus. 

How do demons invade people’s lives? The only way demons can gain entrance into your life is through your disobedience to the Word of God. Satan gained entry into the life of Eve through her disobedience to the Word of God (Gen 2-3). The only way Balaam could get the people of Israel to lose the protection of the Lord was by getting them to sin against God (Num. 22-25). 

Beloved, if Satan can get you to sin against God, if he can get you to lust after a woman, if he can get you to lie, if he can get you to commit fornication, if he can just get you not to pay your tithes etc, you’ll lose God’s protection. And if you lose God’s protection, Satan will then have legal grounds to come into your life and frustrate you out of God’s blessings.

In Ecclesiastes 10:8 the Bible says, “…whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.”

Naturally, God has a hedge [wall] of protection around everyone that is Born Again. God Himself is this wall of protection around you. 

“For I,' says the LORD, 'will be a wall of fire all around her [you], and I will be the glory in her [your] midst” (Zech. 2:5). 

In Colossians 3:3 the Bible says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” 

The New American Version puts it this way, “For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” 

Because God Himself is the wall of fire around you, God said, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me” (Isa. 54:17).

The wall of fire is the hedge of protection that God has put around you and all His children. When you break it through disobedience to the Word of God, you create an opening which I call “A DOORWAY.’ It is through these doorways that demons legally gain entrance into your life.

There are three major and five minor doorways. The major doorways include:

1. The doorway of inheritance (Ex 20:3-5);
2. The doorway of sex (Prov. 6:32 & 1 Cor. 6:18), and
3. The doorway of the occult (Deut. 18:9-12).

The minor doorways include:

1. Negative prenatal influences,
2. Pressures in early childhood,
3. Emotional shock or sustained emotional pressure,
4. Laying on of hands,
5. Carelessness or idle words.

Demons invade your life by your invitation. How does this happen? When you read occult books you are inviting the spirit of the occult. When you read Harri Porter books you invite the spirit of witchcraft. When you watch pornography you invite the spirit of lust.

Demons invade your life by:

1. The movies you watch. Movies plant thoughts. Thoughts produce a harvest. If you watch horror movies you invite the spirit of fear. If you watch movies full of violence like shooting, wrestling, boxing etc you invite the spirit of violence. When you watch carnal movies you invite the spirit of carnality. When you watch romantic movies you invite the spirit of romance.

2. Through the kind of music you listen to. Do you listen to Amazing Grace or to Celin Dion/Michael Jackson heavy metal rocks? When you listen to Gospel music you invite the Spirit of God. When you listen to devilish music you invite demons.

3. Through the type of games you play. Do you play Dungeons and Dragons? This is an introduction to witchcraft. So when you play it you are inviting the spirit of witchcraft. What of draft and cha-cha?

4. Through the church you attend. 

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 

Listen to me friend:

• Any church that teaches same sex marriage;
• Any church that denies the Word of God as the Truth (Jn 17:17); 
• Any church that teaches that man is infallible, and as such his words are above the Word of God;
• Any church that denies the virgin birth of Jesus Christ,
• Any church that denies that Jesus Christ is God (Jn.1:1);
• Any church that denies the Trinity (Gen. 1:1-3; Matt. 28:19);
• Any church that teaches access to the Father through any other means other than Jesus Christ;
• Any church that uses holy water;
• Any church that indulges in infant baptism (Mk. 16:15-16);
• Any church that prays to God through the saints or any other person that has died (Jn. 14:13-14);
• Any church that honours images (Ex. 20:4-5), is not the church of the Lord Jesus Christ but the church of demons.

• 5. By the type of associations [friends] you keep. You will become like your friends. 

Proverbs 13:20 says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” 

1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
