UNDERSTANDING THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!

A number of Christians today are not experiencing victory in their Christian walk because they have no faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

They have no faith in the blood of Jesus because they have no idea of the power in the blood of Jesus Christ. Every time the blood of Jesus is honoured God the Father moves. He always honours the blood of Jesus in order to honour His Son.

So today, we want to look at “UNDERSTANDING THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!” To understand the power in the blood of Jesus, we will look at: 1) The application of the blood, and 2) The secret behind the power in the blood of Jesus. The power in the blood of Jesus cannot be equalled. The ability to win in every area of your life is in the blood of Jesus. The power in the blood of Jesus Christ has its origin in God. The power that makes God to be God is the very power that is contained in the blood of Jesus Christ. This is the very life of Almighty God.

Because of this power, the blood of Jesus can be applied both 1) internally and 2) externally.

Internally, the blood of Jesus Christ washes away the sins of the whole world (Matt. 26:28). In the OT the sins of the people were not removed but only covered (Ps. 85:2).The blood of animals only covered sin.

But in the NT, the blood of Jesus has the power to wash away the sins of all people regardless of the generation.

“But if we walk in the light, as He (God the Father) is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).

Whenever the blood of Jesus shows up, and is duly applied, it wipes sin away completely. The Psalmist said, “…2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine (my) iniquities…” (Ps. 103:1-3).

What is iniquity? Iniquity is sin that has no restraint; you just keep on doing it. It is a sin that you give in to whenever the temptation shows up. You just can’t stop. Iniquity was passed on to you by  your ancestors and from you to the next generation (Ex. 20:5).

But here is the Good News: The power in the blood of Jesus destroys the power of iniquity.

Look at the scientific discovery about the cleansing power of the Blood: Scientifically, it is known that if a venomous snake bites someone and perhaps runs away, they get another of such a snake, extract the venom by pressing the fangs on a glass container, and inject a certain fraction of it [ca 1/10 to 1/100^th] into a lamb.

The lamb is the only animal that can be used for this purpose, not the cow, goat etc.

This will produce antibodies in the lamb that will fight every enemy that wants to hurt the lamb.

The blood of the lamb with such antibodies is then injected into the person bitten by that venomous snake.

This will bring immediate healing to that victim of the snake bite.

When this enters the victim of the snake bite, these antibodies will destroy the snake venom in the system of the victim.

So, the sooner the victim receives this treatment, the faster he will recover because if the treatment is received promptly, the venom will have no chance to reach the organs in the body of the victim not to talk of destroying them.

This is what the blood of Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, has done for you and I. The precious blood of Jesus conquers the venomous power of sin (Matt. 26:28).

The blood of Jesus is also for external application.

“And Moses brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. 23 And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. 24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about” (Lev. 8:22-24).

Moses marked Aaron and all his sons with the blood of sacrifice. The blood of Jesus must have a similar function. The OT foreshadows what the NT does. There is a connection between the blood of the ram and the blood of the Lamb.

Here is the point: When Jesus saved you He washed you on the inside, and marked you on the outside with His precious blood.

Those marked with the blood of Jesus can never be touched by demons because the blood of Jesus Christ provides you with perfect protection from all evil forces.

God protects His property by marking it with the blood of Jesus. We are His property because He bought us with a prize (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

Every Born Again believer is marked with the blood of Jesus. So, the blood of Jesus is not just only a cleansing agent. The blood of Jesus is for your complete protection against all curses, against all witches, and against all forces of darkness.

Look at how the homes of the children of Israel were marked and protected on the night of their Exodus from Egypt (Ex. 12:7, 12, 13, 22).

The children of Israel have been in bondage in the land of Egypt for 430 years, and now it is time for them to be delivered from that bondage.

And the Lord was going to manifest His power in a way that they had never seen or known before just as it will happen to you today, IJN.

Connecting to the power of God begins with the blood of the Lamb. “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt” (v.13).

Remember that a total of 9 miracles took place already in the land of Egypt, but the children of Israel were still in bondage in Egypt.

In Exodus 12:12 God said, “I am going to exercise power over all the idols of the land of Egypt. I will manifest My power against all those gods that compete with Me.”

In Exodus 12:13 God said, “…WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He (Jesus) also Himself likewise took part of the same (power that manifested in the OT); that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Heb. 2:14).

There is supernatural power in the blood of the Lamb. The blood of Jesus has an almighty power over the kingdom of darkness and hell beneath, and over the Kingdom of Heaven and its glory above.

This power is GREAT! (Acts 4:33). This power is mighty (Eph. 1:19). This power is EXCEEDING GREAT! (Eph. 1:19).

This power is EXCELLENT! (2 Cor. 4:7). This power is ETERNAL! (Rom. 1:20). This power is GLORIOUS! (Col. 1:11). This power is DIVINE! (2 Pet. 1:3). This power is UNLIMITED! (Eph. 3:20).

This explains Revelations 12:11 which says, “And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”

The blood of Jesus is all powerful because the life of the flesh is in the blood (Lev. 17:11). That is to say that the life of God Almighty, ZOE, is contained in the blood of Jesus. And that life is above all other powers put together. That power cannot be equalled.

The value of the blood corresponds to the value of the life that is in it. The life of God is contained in the blood of Jesus Christ.

The eternal life of the Godhead is contained in that blood. Therefore, the power in the blood of Jesus is nothing less than the eternal power of God Himself.

What is it that gives the blood of Jesus Christ such power that is above every other power? What is the secret behind the power in the blood of Jesus? Two reasons why the blood of Jesus far surpasses all other powers put together:

1. Because the Bible says so. The Bible says, “…let God be true, but every man a liar” (Rom. 3:4). Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away” (Matt. 24:35).

2. Scientific Evidence. a) Medical science tells us that a baby always gets the blood from the Father. If there is any doubt as to the Father of any child, take blood sample from the suspected men and that of the baby, and under the microscope you can see the connection.

The proof is in the blood. The blood always speaks the truth.

There is such power in the blood of Jesus because the Jesus did not have an earthly Father. His Father is the heavenly Father. His blood has qualities that cannot be copied by anyone.

Usually, the sperm cell carries the blood of the father. The blood of the child and the mother never mixes. The seed from the woman, that is the ovum, does not carry any blood. Only the male sperm cell carries blood.

Realize that it is your father that gave you life. “Listen to your father, who gave you life…” (Prov. 23:22, NLT).

So Jesus does not have a biological father here on earth. The seed that fertilized Mary’s ovum in her fallopian tube to conceive Jesus is from God. And that makes God the Father of Jesus Christ.

If God is the one that gave the seed that made Mary to conceive, then Jesus is the Son of God. God Himself acknowledged Jesus Christ as His Son (Mk. 1:11; Lk. 3:22; Matt. 17:5 and 2 Pet. 1:16-18).

Scientists have studied blood samples of Jesus Christ. Ron Wyatt did find the Ark of the Covenant in 1982 right below where Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross.  The Ark had been placed in this secret location 600 years earlier as instructed by God.  When the solider pierced the side of Jesus, an Earthquake split the rock that the cross was placed upon and Jesus' blood ran down through this crack and dripped on the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant!  All of this information has been suppressed by governments and even religious leaders around the world.  

 When Ron Wyatt collected some of this blood from the Ark and had it analyzed, the Israeli scientists were amazed at what they saw!  To their astonishment this blood was still alive!  The cells were still dividing when they put it in a growth medium.  They were also able to get a chromosome count which is not supposed to be possible on dried blood either because it's dead.  This blood was different than any human blood ever seen.  

The human genome, which is the complement of genes on the chromosomes, is composed of 22 identical pairs of chromosomes except for the X and Y chromosomes that determine whether a person is a male or a female. In a female all 23 pairs of chromosomes are identical with the 23rd pair being XX. 

In a male the 23rd pair is an X and a Y chromosome. In Jesus what we see is that he was formed with only half of the chromosomes of the 22 non sex determining pairs. But in order to make him a male the Lord supplied the Y chromosome through the Holy Spirit! 

If this was anything other than the Immaculate Conception Jesus could not have formed because he would have lacked the paired halves the needed chromosomes of the 22 non sex determining chromosome pairs. We can't develop without the chromosomes being pared. 

And yet by the power of God Jesus did form and God in all his glory provided His signature by putting His Y chromosome into the egg in Mary and thus determining Jesus to be a male!!! If Mary had been impregnated by a man then all 46 chromosomes would have to be present. The miracle of the Immaculate Conception is thus proven since there were only 24 chromosomes evident in the tests!

To fully experience the power in the blood of Jesus, you have to appropriate it to yourself. To appropriate something means to take that thing for your own use.

You must learn how to use the blood of Jesus in your everyday life. How can I appropriate the blood of Jesus? For instance, you say, “I believe I receive divine health, restful sleep, peace, long life, deliverance, financial overflow through the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name. I believe I receive my children saved and serving God through the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name. I believe I receive promotion, open doors through the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

Because of the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I believe and declare that God shall overturn the celebration of your enemies and there shall be tears in their camp. Your race shall be swifter even in the stormy weather and your head shall be lifted higher because your helper is God. Trust Him! Follow Him!
