THE GOD OF UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES

This is our year of “UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES.” Today, we are going to talk about the God of unlimited possibilities.

What is the meaning of “the God of unlimited Possibilities?” By this, I'm referring to the One who has unlimited power, who has never - and will never - meet an intimidating obstacle He cannot overcome, an aggressive enemy He cannot overwhelm, a final decision He cannot override, or a powerful person He cannot overshadow.

Our God is the God of unlimited possibilities. No matter how terrible your situation may seem, it is possible with God (Eph. 3:20) because with God all things are possible (Lk. 1:37).

We see these all throughout the Bible: For example, in Genesis 1 God created the Heavens and the earth out of nothing. He took nothing and created something from nothing.

“…Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before Him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” (Rom. 4:17).

How is this possible? It is possible because He is the Omnipotent (all powerful) God. God is not and can never be limited in any way by anything! In Luke 1:37 Jesus said, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

In Jeremiah 32:27 God said, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for Me?

With this knowledge Apostle Paul asked his accusers saying: Why does it seem incredible (impossible) to you that God can raise the dead?” (Acts 26:8).

Similarly, like Paul I ask us today: why do we think it impossible that God would: Raise the dead, Give sight to the blind, Make the lame to walk, Make a way where men say there’s no way, Make a 90-year-old woman to conceive and give birth to a bouncing baby boy, Protect Daniel in the den of very hungry lions, Cause the fire of the fiery furnace to have no effect on the three Hebrew children, Turn water into wine, Heal the sick of any type of sickness, Change your story?

Yes! God can do the impossible because He is able: Now unto Him that IS ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (imagine), according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph. 3:20).

“GOD IS ABLE” to see you through whatsoever challenges you may be going through right now.

1. We read in the Gospels where a young girl, a virgin, became pregnant and gave birth to the Son of God. Who else can cause a virgin to become pregnant without the involvement of a man, and give birth to the Son of God? No one but the God of unlimited possibilities.

2. God is able to raise the dead to life again. In Mark, Jesus raised the daughter of Jairus from the dead (Mk. 5:22-24, 35-43).

Maybe the Pharisees said that the girl was not really dead but sleeping. Therefore, He raised the only son of the woman of Nain that was already in a coffin, from the dead (Lk. 7:11-16).

The scientists among them may have said that he may have also been in a long coma. This time around Jesus decided to allow a man called Lazarus to be stone dead, and already buried in the grave yard (Jn. 11:1-44). In John 11:43-44, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

The same God will quicken your sick body right now. Romans 11:11 says, “If the Spirit that...”

And because God is great and He is unlimited in every way, He can do the unimaginable:

3. God is able to turn your situation around for your good.

Now unto Him that IS ABLE TO DO exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (imagine), according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph. 3:20).

4. God made Sarah, a 90-year-old woman, to conceive and bare a son. In this woman, it has ceased to be after the manner of women, yet God made her to conceive and bare a son (Rom. 4:17-21). This is unthinkable!

5. No matter your challenges, God is able to deliver you. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all…” (Ps. 34:19-20).

Look at what the three Hebrew children said to Nebuchadnezzar: “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king…” (Dan. 3:17-18).

Therefore, be fully persuaded that the Ancient of Days, the Alpha and the Omega, Jehovah Nissi, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, is ABLE to perform whatsoever He has promised. A good example is the case of Abraham and Sarah. In spite of all odds, God performed exactly what He promised them (Gen. 15:1-6).

In Genesis 18:10 God said to Abraham, “I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.”

And (Abraham) being fully persuaded (convinced) that, whatsoever He had promised, HE WAS ABLE also to perform.” (Rom. 4:21)

In Genesis 21:1-2 the Bible says, “And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken(promised)2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.”

What is the promise of God for us this year? 2025, my year of Unlimited Possibilities! Therefore, believe God and be expectant. “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off” (Prov. 23:18).

Conclusion: Therefore, no matter how extreme your calamity, GOD IS ABLE to help you.

He is loving and kind to all especially those who are distressed. Rise up and receive your miracle today, IJN.
